payment, and purchasing terms for a wide scope of pediatric, adolescent,
adult, flu and travel vaccines. Purchases are made directly from
sanofi pasteur and Merck, and practices receive better terms simply by
participation in Atlantic’s program. In addition, there is no cost
to enroll in the program.
How the Program Works
Upon completion of the Affiliation Agreement, practices are linked
to the Company’s national contracts with sanofi pasteur and Merck. Vaccine
orders are placed directly with the manufacturers, either on-line
or by phone, which in turn ship the products and invoice the practice. As
an Atlantic member, practices receive favorable pricing, purchasing,
and payment terms and can participate in periodic promotions offered
by the manufacturers, along with sanofi pasteur’s VaxMax program.
