Once a physician practice or healthcare organization is linked to our national agreement platform, members can place orders directly with the manufacturers or eligible distributers and will automatically receive our preferred contracted pricing. Purchases can be made online, by phone, or directly with your representatives, and the manufacturers and distributers will then ship the vaccines directly to the practice.

The Seasonal ‘Tripledemic’

Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been a concurrent surge in three respiratory diseases, coined the ‘tripledemic’: influenza (flu), respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), and COVID-19. During the 2022–2023 respiratory virus season, these three diseases infected millions of people across the United States, resulting in more than 100,000 deaths over four months. The increased rates of hospitalization placed a strain on already overwhelmed healthcare institutions and professionals and minimized available resources.

To mitigate this strain and reduce the disease burden, it is essential that at-risk populations are up to date with their recommended vaccines ahead of the winter months. To help protect your patients against the tripledemic, we have compiled a list of our seasonal vaccine offerings as well as the vaccine recommendations issued by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Flu Vaccines

The CDC recommends that all patients receive their flu vaccine by the end of October to activate herd immunity before peak flu activity, December through February, and to ensure that patients receive the vaccine’s full benefits throughout the season.

RSV Vaccines

The CDC recommends that adults over 60 years of age be vaccinated against RSV, using shared clinical decision making. To protect infants, it is recommended that pregnant patients receive the vaccine between 32 and 36 weeks’ gestation. The CDC recommends that infants whose mothers were not vaccinated during pregnancy receive the vaccine upon birth.
